Your location is attached to an exchange zone. These are split across zone 1, zone 2 and zone 3 exchange types and categorised in the following manner:

Metro – this means we can provide your service using Telstra’s network and Telstra have categorised your line as being in Zone 1. Telstra offer us a better deal for Zone 1 services than for other services and as such we can pass these savings on to you and provide you with an ADSL and Phone service at a lower price.

Regional – this means we can provide your service using Telstra’s network and Telstra have categorised your line as being in Zone 2 or Zone 3. Telstra charge us more for these zones than they do for Zone 1, and as such we can’t offer the same deal on services as Metro. Our rates for Regional areas are still very competitive and on bundled services there are no setup fees.

Service Availability
In some instances we may not be able to connect you to either of these exchanges. This can be due to reasons such as:

– You are too far from the exchange

– no ports available

– you are not connected directly to the exchange

– you are on a pair gain system

If this is the case we will do what we can to find an alternative method for you to connect to the internet such as NBN or Mobile Broadband.
